hey,
i recently got picked as a part-time scrum master at my company. while trying to set things up, i realized almost every tool for retros or planning poker eventually asks for a sub or forces everyone to sign up just to use a basic board.
i just wanted something with zero friction, so i built scrumly. the core features like retros, planning poker, and whiteboards are free and don't require an account. you just generate a link and send it to your team.
stack is next.js, typescript, and supabase. handling the real-time sync for the whiteboard without lag was the main headache, still polishing that.
would love some honest feedback from anyone who actually has to run these meetings.
The user, kedi_dili, developed a free tool called Scrumly for retros, planning poker, and whiteboards to avoid the paywalls and sign-up requirements of existing tools. They are seeking feedback on the tool, which is built using Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase, and are particularly interested in the real-time sync feature for whiteboards.
